Shore dive sites
ROMAN PORT
Maximum depth 7 metres. This shallow dive site offers a unique journey through time. Exploring the seabed, we come across the remains of an ancient Roman port, with sections of old stone structures still visible underwater. Scattered around the site are fragments of broken amphorae, silent witnesses to centuries past. Another feature of this site is the presence of an archaeologist's rope running along the shallow dive points to mark the historical artefacts. As we move slowly through this underwater museum, we reach the highlight of the dive: an almost intact Roman amphora resting on the seabed, a rare and fascinating sight. Thanks to the calm conditions and shallow depth, this site is perfect for divers of all levels and particularly interesting for history enthusiasts.
MYSTIC SHOALS
Maximum depth 5.5 metres. This shallow dive site is a fascinating maze of rocky pinnacles emerging from the seabed, creating numerous hiding places and passages to explore. It is a perfect place for a relaxing dive, rich in marine life and history.
At the start of the dive, we come across a rope running along the shallow dive site, used to mark important artefacts. Another noteworthy historical artefact is an old cannon from the 1500s resting among the rocks, offering a glimpse into the site's historical past. Continuing on, the pinnacles offer shelter to a variety of marine life. Watch carefully for octopuses camouflaged in the crevices and flounders blending into the sand patches.
Boat diving sites
(From June to September there is also snorkelling with dolphins on the way to the dive sites, if they are in the mood to play).
RED SHOOTING
Maximum depth 50 metres. We stay between 16 and 25 metres (depending on the diver's licence) to ensure sufficient bottom time. This suggestive wall dive features a vertical rock composition rich in marine life. Following the wall, we explore cracks and holes, perfect hiding places for moray eels, octopuses, centipedes and other shy creatures. Keep an eye out for colourful nudibranchs and enjoy the constant presence of fish. An ideal site for spotting hidden life and enjoying rich biodiversity.
CAMPANARI
Maximum depth 35 metres. The tip of the rocks is 20 metres deep, so it is only accessible to experienced divers. This dive site features two rock formations within a few metres of each other. The area is rich in marine life and ideal for a slow and detailed dive. In and around the rocks, we will look for colourful nudibranchs crawling along the surfaces and spot sea millipedes moving in the crevices. The space between formations often attracts different species of fish, creating a lively and ever-changing scene.
