IKIGAI
Taken from Japanese culture, IKIGAI is a philosophy that describes a Reason for Being.
It suggests that there is no happiness without achievement and no achievement without happiness.
The term IKIGAI more precisely means – our purpose, our raison d’être – the optimal intersection between what’s inside us – and what surrounds us. inside and out of us.
We are all born for a purpose:
this is ours
Warmth
The focus of the whole Kalura Experience is our hotel, was born in 1972 from the intuition of Pasquale Curcio, the late husband, father and grandfather of the current family who still own and manage it, the Kalura has evolved over its 50-year history, supporting natural generational changes while respecting and incorporating echoes of the family’s tradition: their roots, culture and ties.

Flavors
From its inception, the Kalura has conserved the culinary fusion of the diverse cultures who ruled the island over the centuries.
From the early influences of ancient Greek, roman, and Arabic, to bourbon, there emerges a kitchen imaginative, variedbut still simple.
The hotel restaurant, Almaris, still perpetuates this culinary heritage by gathering together the gifts of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the produce of the Madonie park, local pastries and traditional pasta - to serve up to you on a daily basis.
Sea
The whole Kalura experience owes a debt to its seafront position – if only for the great gift the amazing view from our terrace bestows upon even the casual onlooker.
Pure panache of the sensesthe shock of a contact infinite sugella as soon as you start to descend towards the cove.
Experiences
Apart from the great ‘blue yonder’, there’s a whole world to savour.
A Cefalù to explore, mountains to follow, the relaxation enjoy, the meetings i memories keep the wonder try...
