Red Kalura Etna Rosso DOC 2023 is an elegant red wine, produced from the volcanic soils of eastern Sicily. Compared to the younger vintage, it offers an extra year of ageing and greater harmony.

The character of the Etna Rosso DOC 2023

The grapes grow on the slopes of the’Etna, amongst terraced slopes and lava soils. Here, the mountain climate meets the Mediterranean sun. Furthermore, the Nerello Mascalese grape, the star of the appellation, produces fine, long-lived wines.

The minerality of the soil is reflected in an authentic wine that captures the essence of the terroir with every sip. This is why it is highly prized by lovers of elegant reds.

Tasting and food pairings

On the nose, there are notes of red fruits and delicate floral hints. On the palate, it is balanced, fresh and harmonious, with a subtle yet persistent structure. Furthermore, time in the bottle makes the wine rounder and more complex.
