The growing area of Etna Bianco DOC 2024

The vineyards are situated on the slopes of the’Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano. Here, the climate, the soil and human labour come together in a unique balance. Furthermore, the lava sands and the extreme temperature variations lend the wine finesse and intense aromas.

This is why Etna white wine is one of the most authentic expressions of Sicilian viticulture. The star of the show is Carricante, a native grape variety promoted by the appellation’s regulations.

Profile and pairings

On the palate, it is dry, fresh and vibrant, with a distinct mineral character. Furthermore, time in the bottle tends to round out the flavour and broaden the bouquet. The result is a harmonious wine of great elegance.

It goes well with baked fish, shellfish, seafood risottos and medium-aged cheeses. Served chilled, it is also perfect for a special dinner.
